Welcome to the City of Lindstrom’s Highway 8 reconstruction project website.

Through the information on our website, we hope to ease your fears concerning the upcoming reconstruction of Highway 8.  Even with great information though, we understand that you as well as we ourselves look with trepidation to this major disruption of our downtown corridor.  Our intent is to soften the impact as much as possible and even through the construction make Lindstrom’s business community successful.

The Highway 8 project is a complete reconstruction project and will cause two summers of disruption but, after 80 years since the last Highway 8 reconstruction project, it is time to improve safety and replace aging infrastructure.  Please stay connected to this site or to our Facebook site for updates.  If you have any problems please contact; MnDot’s liaison- Todd Carroll at todd.carroll@state.mn.us   or City contacts- Dan Undem at cityoflindstrom@gmail.com or John Olinger at Jolinger@cityoflindstrom.us

Let’s make the project a success so we can prosper through the construction.
