COMMUNITY PARKS
Lions Park:
This is a 5.5 acre park located adjacent to the Lindstrom
City Hall, at the East end of Sylvan Avenue (South of
Lindstrom Video at the corner of Highway 8 and Akerson
Street). Special features include the Lindstrom Band Shell,
which hosts the annual summer concert series, “Harmony in
the Park”. Concerts are held on Wednesday evenings at 7:00
p.m. throughout June to August. The small Island displays
evergreens, sitting benches, and is surrounded by a moat
which is accessible by a covered foot bridge. There is a
Pavilion with Picnic tables, Electricity, Grills, the Lions
Head Water Fountain, Portable Toilets, and conventional
Restrooms during Community-hosted City events. Play
Structures include a separate Toddlers play area; an
Elementary age play Area with Handicap Transfer Stations, a
Handicap Swing and Tire Swing, and a Self-standing Upper
Body event for ages 10 thru 14. Open green space is
available for play activities
