Olinda Trail Multi-Use Trail Project

The City of Lindstrom is constructing a multi-use trail along the west side of Olinda Trail between 292nd Street and 288th Street. Prep work has started this week. The project is anticipated to be completed by early/mid June.

RESIDENT IMPACTS: Relocation of certain water infrastructure is needed to accommodate this project, which will likely result in at least 2 WATER SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS.

Services interruptions will be scheduled between 9am & 3pm on Monday -Thursday, and will likely last approx. 4 hours each. The City will post the specific dates/times for the water service interruptions on the project website & social media outlets at least 48-hours in advance. The service interruptions are expected to occur in late April/early May. We also plan to utilize the Lakes Area Police Department’s digital notification sign onsite to alert drivers of pending water service interruptions.

There will likely be some minor impacts to traffic along Olinda Trail, including intermittent shoulder and turn lane closures. Traffic control devices will be used to guide vehicles through the project corridor.

SAFETY: We urge you to use caution around the work site. Your assistance in reminding area children to stay clear of construction operations, especially the equipment, is helpful in maintaining a safe environment. Your patience and cooperation during this construction project is greatly appreciated.
