Monument & Marker Information
Monuments and Markers Guidelines
- Monuments and markers must be constructed of granite, marble, or bronze material.
- Monument and marker placement must be approved by the City.
- In the Original Section, the base area of monuments shall not exceed 4’5” in width by 20” in length. Monuments may protrude above the ground.
- In the First Addition and Third Addition (formally known as the Second Addition), the base area of monuments/markers shall not exceed 4’5” in width by 20” in length. Only flat headstone and footstone monuments/markers are allowed in the First and Third Additions.
- Monuments and markers are considered private property of the relatives; the relatives of the decedent are responsible for their care and maintenance.
