MDH Lead/Copper Sampling Instructions

If you are a resident who is participating in this year's MDH Lead/Copper Sampling, please read the information below.  If you are not currently a participant but would like to participate in the future, please contact City Hall at 651-257-0620

Dear Resident:

Thank you for participating!  Your samples will help ensure that we meet all water quality standards for safe drinking water.  The links provided below have more details on the sampling procedure.

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Do not use any water for 6-12 hours prior to sampling
2. Take sample from cold water tap (kitchen or bathroom faucet)
3. Fill Sample to neck of the sample bottle
4. Place cap on bottle, check for leaks
5. Complete label on bottle and Copper Tap Water Sample Form
6. Attach paper work to bottle with rubber band
7. Call Lindstrom City Hall to arrange pickup 651.257.0620
8. Place sample bottle outside of home (front porch, steps, etc.)
