Driver’s Exams

Appointments must be scheduled in advance through the MN Department of Public Safety.  Motorcycle and Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) written exams do not need to be scheduled in advance, and are first-come first-served on a walk-in basis.  Please visit the MN DPS website for additional information or to schedule your exam.  The City of Lindström provides the community center and parking lot for the state to conduct testing, but the city does not have anything to do with their scheduling or services.  Please contact DPS directly with questions. https://onlineservices.dps.mn.gov/EServices/_/

Lakes Area Compost Site

Compost Site Hours (Weather Depending):  Wednesday 2pm-7pm (or dusk in fall), Saturday 9am-4pm, and Sunday 1pm-4pm.  Open Mid-April to Mid-November (see above link for exact dates on website).

Location:  31501 Lofton Ave., Chisago City, MN 55013 (next to the sewer treatment plant)
