Spring Fire Hydrant Flushing Begins on Mon., April 15, 2024

Spring fire hydrant flushing will begin on Monday, April 15th, and will continue all week (weather permitting). Please refer to the map in the image below for which sections of the city will have the fire hydrants flushed on which day.

You may experience low water pressure at this time, which should resume shortly after the process is finished. You may also experience “spitting” when you turn your water on, which is caused from air getting into the system. A slight discoloration of the water can occur as well. If you experience any of this, we suggest letting your water run for a short period of time to clear the pipes within your home.
