North Meadow Park Tree Planting & Sponsorship Deadline Delayed

Due to weather and muddy conditions, the North Meadow Park Tree Planting has been delayed to Tuesday, May 2nd.  So we have extended the sponsorship deadline to Thursday, April 27, 2023.

The Chisago Lakes Rotary is going to donate and plant 2 shade trees in North Meadow Park near the benches and playground area.  These shade trees would not interfere with the ball field, and will be a wonderful addition for residents and park goers to enjoy. 

In return for their donation, the Chisago Lakes Rotary is requesting that residents of the North Meadow neighborhood, or anyone who uses the park, help to sponsor a third (or even a fourth!) tree.  The cost of a tree that would work well in this park ranges from $250-$450, depending upon species, for a trunk diameter of 1.5” or greater. 

A donation of any amount is greatly appreciated.  Thank you for your consideration!
