Allemansrätt Wilderness Park

A 125-acre Swedish heritage wilderness park. Camping,

trails, a secluded lake, and much more.  Trails connect

the Bull Lake area (no motors allowed on lake) to the

Anderson Peninsula and camping area.  The peninsula

features panoramic lake views, a butterfly garden prairie,

and the historic house kiosk.  A Lindström city park.

Beach Park

Located on South Lindstrom Lake, this park features

a sand beach, volleyball court, play equipment, 

pavilion, fishing pier, and more.  A popular access point

for winter ice fishing.  A Lindström city park.  For the

Lions Park & Band Shell

Located next to City Hall, this park features a pavilion,

Centennial Band Shell, a peninsula island, and more.

The FREE Harmony in the Park summer concert series

is held here for 10 consecutive Wednesdays in the

summer, & features many regionally well-known bands.

Swedish Immigrant Regional Trail

A popular cycling trail for all ages.

This 20 mile, multi-use, hard surface trail provides a

safe route for recreation and alternative transportation,

while interpreting and celebrating the Swedish

Immigrant History of Chisago County.  A few segments

are still awaiting completion.  The Lindström segment of

the trail runs through portions of downtown.  Click HERE

Snowmobile Trails

Local trails are maintained & groomed by the Wild River

Snowmobile Club.  ATVs are not allowed on any Grant-In

Aid Trails.  Always stay on the trail- off trail riding is

considered trespassing, & can jeopardize the future of

Wild River State Park

Located along 18 miles of the St. Croix River.  Enjoy

camping, hiking, horseback riding, canoeing, interpretive

programs, self-guided trails, and cross-country skiing &

snowshoeing.

Interstate State Park

The park runs along the St. Croix River, and offers hiking

among old lava flows & glacial potholes, plus canoeing,
